Kat is a dedicated criminal justice reform advocate with nearly a decade of experience in criminal justice reform advocacy and civil rights restoration. Currently with the Alliance for Safety and Justice as the Arizona State Director, she has held various roles in organizing and program development at national and statewide nonprofits. Kat has worked extensively to help individuals with conviction history regain their rights to vote, serve on juries, and access housing and education. She has also served as state team leader for a national voter registration nonprofit demonstrating her commitment to promoting civic engagement and equity. Passionate about justice reform, Kat serves on multiple committees and as a board member for organizations focused on these issues in Arizona. She is also trained as a victim advocate, community health worker, and paralegal, and is a lifelong Arizonan.
