Muhammad Irfan

Director, Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, & Implementation (MELI)

Irfan is the Measurement, Evaluation, Learning, and Implementation (MELI) Director at the Alliance for Safety and Justice. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the MELI department and strengthening ASJ’s recurring evaluation and impact assessment efforts. Irfan has extensive experience in designing data management systems, technical report writing, and developing organizational learning agendas and theories of change. He has evaluated programs focused on human rights, civil society strengthening, education, and global health across the US, Pakistan, Egypt, and the UK, working with organizations such as the United Nations Foundation, AJWS, World Learning, and the Aga Khan Development Network.

Irfan holds a Masters in Development Administration and Planning from University College London and resides in Austin, Texas. In his free time, Irfan enjoys photography and music and is part of a US-based South Asian band called Fitoor.
