Individual Giving Manager

Maggie serves as Individual Giving Manager and brings over 10 years of nonprofit and education experience to the development team at Alliance for Safety and Justice. Before joining ASJ, she led the development team at Rebuilding Together DC Alexandria, where she brought in record-breaking gifts and helped ensure financial stability through the pandemic. Prior to that, she led fundraising efforts at The Child and Family Network Centers, a free early education program for low-income families. Maggie is a Teach for America alum and has a BA from the University of Maryland in College Park. Maggie is a native Bostonian and has lived all over. She currently lives in DC with her cat Munchkin.


Associate Accountant

Adacia Felix serves as ASJ’s Associate Accountant. Adacia was born in Guyana, but eventually moved to Washington D.C in 2006.  She began working in accounting in 2014 and has over 4 years of experience in non-profit accounting. Adacia is currently pursuing her MBA in Finance at University of Maryland College Park. Adacia enjoys traveling, cooking and trying new things.


CA CSSJ Member Engagement Associate

LaNaisha Edwards is our CA CSSJ Member Engagement Associate and recently earned her Master Certificate in Restore Justice  at Vermont Law school with the goal of advocating for more Restorative programs within the justice system and impacted communities. She is a survivor of multiple violent crimes, activist, restorative justice practitioner and advocate.


TimeDone Social Media Manager

Aasha Collins is a social media expert and serves as our TimeDone Social Media manager. She has utilized her skills, working for fun brands like Mountain Dew, Neutrogena, Butterfinger, Crunch, Refinery29, BET, Bustle, The Tylt and eBay. In addition to being nominated for several Shorty Awards, she has spearheaded and contributed to some of the most creative campaigns on social.


Security & Identity Analyst

Dorian serves as ASJ’s Security and Identity Analyst. Dorian is a Chicago Native, but is currently a Houston resident. Dorian graduated from Florida International University with a Masters Degree In Cyber Security & Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelors in Computer Information Systems.


IT Support & Training Manager

Brittany Forte is an IT Support & Training Manager for Alliance Safety and Justice. She possesses 13 years of experience in Information Technology with a board background specializing in IT Support, Training and Onboarding, Incident Management, System Administration and Project Management. She has gained this considerable amount of experience working alongside several non-profit organizations, national and international organizations, and small businesses. She received her Associates of Business Administration from Cuyahoga Community College but ultimately decided IT is her chosen career path. In her spare time, she enjoys podcasts, listening to music, cooking new recipes, and traveling.


ASJ Events Manager

Anita Obasi serves as our CSSJ Events & Community Manager and is a seasoned events professional who takes pride in curating deeply impactful experiences. She is driven by the belief that creating safe spaces for expression is the key towards tangible social impact and community building. She has been recognized for her commitment towards purposed-centered storytelling as a former keynote speaker at the University of Texas’ Feminist Action Project Conference, as well as earning an Austin’s ‘Best Of’ award for her grassroots events work. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, and when she’s not focused on work, she is most likely exploring the beaches and hikes of Southern California.
