Grants Associate

Payton is a Grants Associate at Alliance for Safety and Justice. Prior to working with ASJ, Payton worked as a Grants Coordinator for a nonprofit that provides mental health care and supportive services. She has experience planning and coordinating grant activities in line with organizational goals and co-managing a diverse grants portfolio.


Data & Analytics Specialist

Anne Devan-Song is a Data and Analytics Specialist at the Alliance for Safety and Justice. She has over a decade of experience in field data collection and analysis, teaching, and research within the fields of tropical and disease ecology and social ecological systems. Her research funding sources have included the National Park Service, USDA, and the American Association for University Women (AAUW).


Executive Assistant to the Vice President

Tanya is the Executive Assistant to Vice President of ASJ. Tanya brings nearly two decades of experience supporting executives in both the public and private sector.  She worked for over a decade in municipal government, and several years in corporate legal governance and compliance. 


CSSJ Organizing Manager

Celina serves as our Arizona CSSJ Statewide Manager. Celina’s passion for community service and the spirit of collaboration began in her youth. As a teen, she started her work in community programs, volunteering at public schools as a youth program assistant and at the local YMCA as the youth art coordinator,  supporting programs to garner a safe space for youth otherwise displaced by community and family trauma.


EveryAction Administrator

Chann serves as the EveryAction Administrator for ASJ in our Systems, Tools & Tech department. Chann is dedicated to people and cultivating meaningful relationships. He is also passionate about improving health outcomes for marginalized communities.


Florida Government Affairs Manager

Katie Bohnett is the Florida Government Affairs Manager for the Alliance for Safety and Justice (ASJ) and previously served as the Florida State Organizer for the REFORM Alliance. This past 2022 legislative session, Katie worked with ASJ and the Florida Safety Coalition to pass SB 752 to remove barriers to successful reentry for those serving probation by education and employment credits and remote reporting.

Katie worked on Charlie Crist’s 2006 Gubernatorial campaign at 21, then became his youngest Director and Senior Staff member in 2007. Sixteen years later, she has held many positions in Republican, Democratic, and Independent campaigns, including Linda McMahon for U.S. Senate in 2012 and Congressman Charlie Crist’s successful 2016 run. She has experience in state government, campaign management, development, and association management. She just finished her second term on the Board of the League of Women Voters of Tallahassee and is proud to serve as the Vice President for the 2022-2023 term. She also serves as the 2022-23 Florida Society of Association Executives (FSAE) Government Affairs Committee Chair.


CSSJ Organizing Manager

Kimberly serves as our Texas CSSJ Statewide Manager. She recently worked as a Senior Organizer and the Family Projects Coordinator at the Grassroots Law Project, a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization that works to transform the American legal system. In her role at Grassroots Law Project, she assisted in the development, coordination, and implementation of family advocacy projects and campaigns designed to support families impacted by America’s policing system.


Chief Marketing & Communications Officer

Patty Guinto joined the Alliance for Safety and Justice in July, 2022. She is responsible for partnering with organizational leadership and marketing and communications staff to establish the organization’s strategic marketing communications plan and vision.

She previously served as the Director, Brand Marketing and Communications with the National Center for Youth Law, where she led and launched an organizational rebrand. She has also held positions with the Alzheimer’s Association, the American Cancer Society and City of Hope Cancer Center.


Grants & Contracts Associate

Andrea is a Grants and Contracts Associate for Alliance for Safety and Justice. Prior to working with ASJ, Andrea worked as an administrative assistant and student advocate.

Andrea is a proud San José State University alumna, having earned her B.A. in Child & Adolescent Development and her M.A. in Chicana & Chicano Studies. In her spare time, Andrea loves hiking, traveling, and writing.
