Dr. LaDonna Butler is the Senior Program Manager of Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice (CSSJ), a national organization focused on criminal justice reform, centering the experiences of survivors. Her lived experience resulted in her commitment to Collective Healing, Wellness and Liberation for those impacted by systemic barriers to wellbeing. Prior to joining CSSJ, Dr. Butler founded and served as Executive Director of The Well for Life. The Well is a Healing Space, that provides training and development, clinical service, and advocacy prioritizing individuals disproportionately experiencing adverse health outcomes due to systemic, historical and intergenerational determinants. She also served as Project Director for the Reckoning with Race and COVID-19 in Infant-Family Mental Health initiative at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Butler has extensive training in Reflective Supervision, Trauma, and Infant-Family Mental Health. She is the Board Chair of Pinellas Healthy Start Coalition and a member of the BOD for NAMI Pinellas. In addition to these interests and accomplishments, she is most honored to have birthed and “Mothered” 5 of the most beautiful and brilliant children; Imari, Kira, Mason, Oren, and Quinci. She is most loved by her husband, Minister Ulas D. Butler, who serves as Co-Founder and Spiritual Guide for The Well for Life, LLC
