Robin Campbell, Senior Staff Writer
Robin Campbell joined the Alliance for Safety and Justice as Senior Staff Writer in 2019 and currently serves as the Senior Writing & Publications Manager. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Communications and Engagement at the Pretrial Justice Institute and, even earlier, as Director of Media Relations for the New York City Department of Correction (DOC). Robin’s earliest work in criminal justice reform was with the Vera Institute of Justice, where he served for nearly a decade. He was Vera’s Director of Communications at the time he was asked to join the DOC. Robin currently lives near Baltimore, Maryland and is a graduate of the University of Chicago
