New Community Safety Solutions

These policies help achieve safety by meeting the needs of people who have experienced violence and trauma, and ensuring people who are vulnerable can access immediate support. 

This area of our work includes advocacy for policies that expand:

• Mental health and substance dependence treatment and crisis response
• Community-based violence intervention, including effective community and law enforcement partnerships
• Reentry supports that include job placement and pathways to safe housing and economic self-sufficiency
